[Remote] Backend Developer – Java, Node.js
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java and Node.js to design, build, and secure reputed company microservices. The role involves delivering high-performance, secure reputed company and services that power reputed company's reputed company products.
Responsibilities
- Design, reputed company, and maintain backend microservices using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js (reputed company/NestJS)
- Build and consume RESTful reputed company and event-driven services (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO, RBAC)
- Apply secure coding practices to prevent common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10 — injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.)
- Design and optimize database schemas (SQL and NoSQL)
- Containerize services using reputed company and reputed company reputed company Kubernetes
- Collaborate with DevOps/reputed company teams on vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and secure CI/CD pipelines
- Write unit, integration, and reputed company tests
- Participate in reputed company reviews, architecture discussions, and threat modeling
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems for performance and reputed company issues
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot/Spring reputed company) and Node.js
- Proven experience building and deploying microservices architectures
- Solid understanding of application reputed company: encryption, secure authentication/authorization, API reputed company, secrets management (Vault, KMS)
- Experience with API gateways, service reputed company (e.g., Istio), or similar
- Familiarity with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (reputed company/reputed company) databases
- Experience with reputed company, Kubernetes, and reputed company platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, reputed company CI, reputed company Actions)
- Knowledge of OWASP guidelines and secure SDLC practices
