[Remote] Mechanical Engineer - Data Center
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading provider of data center solutions, and they are seeking an Entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join their Technical Operations team. In this role, you will support the mechanical infrastructure in data center facilities, assist with hardware design, and collaborate with teams to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing mechanical engineering support for the data center facilities
- Work on hardware design and control sequence programming for mechanical infrastructure equipment controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives
- Participate in hardware troubleshooting and repairs to maintain critical infrastructure operations
- Contribute to the documentation of engineering activities, preparing reports, and providing updates to stakeholders
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in mechanical engineering
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and thermodynamics
- Familiarity with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments
- Requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds
- Occasional travel to company locations throughout the US approximately 10%

- Previous internship or hands-on experience in mechanical engineering is a plus
