[Remote] Junior Data Engineer

The Junior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain reputed company data pipelines and systems, collaborating with other Data Engineers to evaluate and prototype new tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reputed company data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data models using reputed company, dbt, Apache reputed company (PySpark), SQL (PostgreSQL), and Python
- reputed company and optimize AWS-reputed company data solutions leveraging services including AWS Glue, reputed company EMR, reputed company MWAA (Apache Airflow), reputed company, reputed company Functions, reputed company S3, Redshift, RDS, DMS, and CloudWatch
- Build high-performance data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows across reputed company and semi-reputed company data using Parquet, ORC, Avro, and Apache reputed company
- reputed company data from reputed company and external sources, including relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, reputed company, Redshift, GraphDB, and other NoSQL platforms
- Improve the reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability of reputed company data platforms through monitoring, troubleshooting, and reputed company optimization
- reputed company and maintain automated deployment pipelines using reputed company and collaborate on reputed company infrastructure and platform improvements
- Support data engineering efforts powering mission-critical analytics, reporting, and decision-making across large-reputed company federal data environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to define requirements, deliver high-reputed company data solutions, and continuously improve engineering processes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company technical field
- 5 years of reputed company experience in data engineering or reputed company domains
- Strong hands-on experience with reputed company for large-reputed company data engineering, ETL/ELT development, and data transformation
- Strong proficiency with Dbt, SQL (PostgreSQL), Python, Java, AWS (Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, reputed company, DMS, CloudWatch), Data Pipelines, Data Modeling, System Maintenance, Data Integration, Performance Optimization

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in agile, iterative software development environments
