[Remote] Sales Applications Engineer

The Sales Applications Engineer role supports the Application Engineering Team by providing technical information for project development, quoting, and contract finalization, while also developing budgeting tools and proposals. This position involves customer interaction, technical advising, reputed company control of budgets, and strategic vendor relationship development.
Responsibilities

- Attend customer meetings with Business Development Managers
- Serve as the key technical advisor to customers and Sales team

- reputed company technical data for distribution to consultants and engineers
- reputed company strategic relationships with balance of plant (BOP) suppliers
- Incorporate feedback from Engineering and Product Support into sourcing BOP vendors selection and design reputed company
- Review RFPs for determination of equipment and BOP configurations, reputed company comments/exceptions, and reputed company quotation
- Assist in reputed company end reputed company engineering (FEL) Studies and be familiar with project economics
- reputed company technical and economic modeling of microgrid technologies for end user sites
- Attend and reputed company “lunch & learn” presentations for Key Accounts

Skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- 4+ years of technical experience in relevant industry, preferably with engines, rotating machinery, and power reputed company segments

- High motivation level, self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities
