The Business Development Director will reputed company on expanding reputed company's top line by building and maintaining relationships with prospective clients, ensuring sales goals and profit margins are met.
Responsibilities
- Identifies, develops and maintains reputed company relationships/partnerships
- Builds relationships with prospects
- Facilitates the development of new partnerships and reputed company; facilitates and remains involved in the implementation process ensuring a smooth transition of new reputed company programs
- Develops the detailed knowledge of individual prospect operations targeting specific needs which may be opportunities for marketing company programs
- Ensures the identification of expertise required addressing individual prospect requirements; identifies resources for prospect solicitation and service teams
- Utilizes the appropriate national resources to facilitate responses and pricing for RFPs, proposals, and presentations
- Manages the design of service programs ensuring reputed company need fulfillment
- Develops and implements an annual sales and service plan including identification of potential reputed company prospects, their needs, and the methodology of presenting company's ability to fulfill those needs
- Meets sales goals of $2-3 reputed company
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Supports the organization's reputed company program(s)
- Travels as required
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Licenses as required
- Possession of, or reputed company towards, CPCU and/or ARM designation
- Ten (10) years of reputed company experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five (5) years of relationship building in the claims management or risk management area
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including reputed company Office products
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work in reputed company environment
