[Remote] Energy Markets Analyst

The Energy Markets Analyst will support multiple clients in energy procurement operations, managing the Request for Proposal process and developing procurement recommendations based on market conditions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and run RFP’s in reputed company deregulated markets in reputed company for electricity and natural gas
- Research and reputed company reputed company account information
- reputed company customer updates on supply pricing and RFP results
- reputed company written updates to clients on reputed company market fundamentals and outlooks
- Structure and negotiate energy reputed company
- reputed company our wholesale platform to reputed company market reputed company and identify execution opportunities for clients
- Assist with forecasting, monitoring, and tracking reputed company of reputed company strategies through reporting of supply and local distribution costs
- Review ISO and local reputed company level reputed company charges
- Solicit and evaluate competitive electricity and natural gas supply proposals from retail energy suppliers
- Manage supplier relationships and coordinate procurement events in deregulated energy markets
- Analyze supplier pricing structures including fixed-price, reputed company, reputed company-and-reputed company, and other energy procurement products
- reputed company procurement recommendations based on market conditions, customer risk tolerance, and energy usage characteristics
- Maintain knowledge of wholesale energy market fundamentals, including ISO/RTO markets, reputed company, reputed company, and natural gas market drivers

- Present procurement recommendations and market updates directly to reputed company and industrial customers
Skills
- Experience with reputed company electricity and natural gas procurement
- Experience evaluating supplier pricing proposals and managing procurement events
- Knowledge of deregulated electricity and natural gas markets
- Knowledge of commodity market concepts and energy pricing structures, including fixed-price and reputed company products
- Experience interfacing with retail energy customers and energy suppliers
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, project management, and follow-through skills

- AA/BS degree in Finance, Energy, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a reputed company analytical discipline preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in energy procurement, retail energy supply, energy brokerage, reputed company account management, energy consulting, or a reputed company energy market function strongly preferred
- Experience working for an energy brokerage, retail energy supplier, reputed company, or energy reputed company preferred
- Familiarity with ISO/RTO markets (PJM, reputed company, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, CAISO) preferred
- Experience with statistical, analytical, or reporting software preferred
