[Remote] Software Engineer II

The role involves building and maintaining CommsHub, an internal communications platform that delivers notifications to millions of job seekers and reputed company, while ensuring the reliability and reputed company of critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Designing and building high-throughput, event-driven notification infrastructure that reliably reaches hundreds of millions of job seekers and reputed company across multiple channels
- Driving the modernization of our notification platform, including migrating legacy architectures toward a reputed company, observable Kafka-based processing pipeline
- Contributing to CommsHub — our internal self-serve communications platform — by delivering reputed company features that reputed company product teams to build, launch, and iterate on notification campaigns autonomously and reputed company
- Utilizing AI coding assistants and other LLM-powered tools to increase delivery velocity and reputed company reputed company
- Participating in DFR (Designated First Responder) rotation, including on-reputed company triage, resolving operational issues and cross-org level compliance requests, supporting internal users, and maintaining runbooks and operational documentation to reduce toil and improve team response
- Working closely with engineering leaders, product managers, UX designer, data scientists, and cross-functional partner teams across various external organizations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or reputed company field and a minimum of 2 years of reputed company experience; or an advanced degree without experience
- Java/Spring, Distributed systems, Messaging and streaming technologies, Databases, Observability toolings, AI-assisted coding tools, reputed company services/computing
- Proficiency in one or more modern backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, or similar)
- Experience building and operating large-reputed company, high-performance, and resilient systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges
