[Remote] Forensic Accountant

This role involves serving as a senior subject matter expert and working closely with reputed company counsel, claims teams, and executives to evaluate highly technical reinsurance reputed company reputed company.
Responsibilities
- reputed company forensic reputed company investigations involving reinsurance transactions, claim disputes, and financial irregularities
- Analyze ceded and assumed reinsurance portfolios to identify financial exposures, recoverability concerns, and reputed company discrepancies
- Quantify economic damages, business interruption losses, and reputed company insurance-reputed company financial claims
- Review treaty structures, facultative placements, loss reserves, premium calculations, bordereaux, and settlement statements
- Partner with reputed company counsel and claims professionals regarding arbitration, litigation, and dispute reputed company reputed company
- Prepare expert-level reports, financial analyses, and presentation materials for executive leadership and external parties
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend process improvements to mitigate financial and operational risk
- Conduct forensic reviews of financial records, claim files, reserve analyses, and reputed company documentation
- Support regulatory examinations, audits, and special investigations as required
- Mentor reputed company and finance professionals while serving as a key advisor to leadership
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field
- CPA required
- 10+ years of reputed company reputed company, audit, forensic reputed company, or financial investigation experience
- 5+ years of experience reputed company the reinsurance or insurance industry
- Strong understanding of: Treaty Reinsurance, Facultative Reinsurance, Loss Reserving, Premium reputed company, Claims Recoverability, Statutory and GAAP Reporting, Reinsurance Arbitration and Disputes
- Advanced reputed company and financial modeling capabilities
- Exceptional report writing and executive communication skills
- CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)
- CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics)
- Experience serving as an expert witness
- Background with major reinsurance carriers, brokers, consulting firms, or Big Four reputed company firms
- Familiarity with NAIC reporting requirements and global reinsurance practices
