Responsibilities
- Counsel patients regarding insurance benefits and recommend alternative sources of payment and financial assistance by explaining financial responsibilities for services received, payment reputed company and collection procedures to patients and parties responsible for payment

- Initiate process for collecting prepays due and reputed company follow-up to ensure maximum collection is achieved

Skills
- High School Diploma/GED and three years of experience in a customer-facing role with in-person or phone contact
- OR Associate's Degree and two years of experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree

- Strong finance background
- Knowledge of insurance processes, including deductibles, co-insurance, and co-pay responsibilities
- Prior experience in medical collections, banking, or a similar financial services role
