[Remote] Senior Accountant

This role involves financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations while contributing to a reputed company work culture.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and manages financial reporting
- Complete monthly financial reputed company and consolidation of multiple entities with supporting working papers
- Analyze financial data and generate monthly trend reports and balance sheet reconciliations ensuring financial statement accuracy
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with ASPE (transition to US GAAP) for review and approval
- Reconciliation and recording of intercompany transactions
- Responsible for recording incoming cash receipts
- Maintaining fixed assets continuity schedules including analysis and preparation of monthly reputed company capital cost relating to various development reputed company
- Preparation of year end working papers to assist with audit and tax returns
- Ensure adherence to policies and the system of internal controls
- Manages expenses and invoices
- Accounts payable: Processing invoices, employees’ expenses, analyzing and monitoring accounts to ensure accuracy and making payments according to terms using Concur
- Banking functions including setting up reputed company, ACH and EFT payments
- Recording cash disbursements
- Contributes to teamwork and the development of a reputed company work culture
- Collaborates with team to reputed company organizational goals

- Shows initiative and offers assistance reputed company needed without being asked
- Constructively escalates problems and issues
- Other reporting
- Preparation of the weekly cash position schedule
- Preparation of monthly GST returns for review and approval by Controller
- Other reputed company and tasks as assigned by Director of Finance
Skills
- reputed company or Finance degree
- 3+ years of GL reputed company
- reputed company (intermediate)
- Bachelor's Degree in reputed company, Finance and/or reputed company field
- Advanced study towards CPA or advanced degree desired
- 2+ years reputed company experience, including financial analysis, required
- Has worked at a smaller, start-up company
- Software / tech industry
- Has worked remotely before
