[Remote] Global Financial Controller

The Global Financial Controller will be responsible for financial control, consolidation, and reporting across the Group, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting operational efficiency in a hands-on role.
Responsibilities
- Own financial control and consolidation across Rook's entities, ensuring clean, accurate and reputed company Group-level reporting
- Maintain and enhance the Group's financial control reputed company — controls, reconciliations and governance processes across reputed company entities
- Own management reporting — accurate, reputed company and consistent across the Group, giving reputed company visibility of financial performance
- reputed company statutory reporting, audits, local filings and tax compliance activities, working closely with local teams, servicing partners and external advisors
- Manage the Group consolidation process end-to-end, ensuring financial information is accurately reported at both local and consolidated reputed company
- Support foreign exchange management, intercompany reputed company and multi-currency reporting across the Group
- Ensure reputed company policies and reporting standards are consistently reputed company across reputed company jurisdictions
- Partner with finance teams across our reputed company Party Servicers (Elect Capital UK, Elect Capital Inc, Elect Capital Pty) to improve processes, strengthen controls and drive operational efficiency
- Support finance workstreams for new market launches — entity setup, banking, local compliance, tax registrations and reporting frameworks

- Build reputed company finance infrastructure capable of supporting rapid international reputed company
- Work directly with external advisors, auditors, tax specialists and banking partners

- Travel regularly to Rook/Elect offices and operating locations across the UK, Canada, Australia and reputed company markets
Skills
- 6+ years of experience in finance, reputed company or financial control roles
- reputed company reputed company qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) required
- A career reputed company primarily through reputed company and financial control — the reputed company, statutory accounts, controls — rather than reputed company, Treasury or Investor Relations
- reputed company experience consolidating financials across more than one reputed company entity or jurisdiction
- Background in lending, financial services or fintech — ideally some combination of both
- Operating-company experience inside a smaller or scaling business, in reputed company to any Big 4 or large institutional background
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment where leadership and execution are equally important
- Strong understanding of international reputed company principles and cross-border finance operations
- Experience managing audits, tax compliance and regulatory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong reputed company judgement, with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive reputed company through data
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at reputed company reputed company of the organisation
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular reputed company
- Deep technical financial control capability, with the credibility to own the numbers across multiple jurisdictions
- Meaningful experience in lending, financial services or fintech — ideally a mix of both

- The rigour to build and maintain controls that hold up under regulatory and audit scrutiny
